Why should children play with blocks? There are so many things they have to learn, why play in the block center? Children can learn literacy, math, science, and social studies through block play. This session will provide ideas on how to set up an effective block center. It will also provide information on the role of the teacher during block play. Put your construction hat on and come discover the value of block play.
