Supporting Transitions and Informed Participation for Children with Disabilities

Transitions in services can often be challenging for families and children with disabilities. This workshop will provide an overview of the use of educator and family-led developmental monitoring to support meaningful and active participation in decision-making. Educators and families will learn the essential policies and procedures of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act for young and school-aged children. Leslie Lavergne will be our guest speaker for this session.

This training will be an in-person training at 850 Insight Park Avenue on the University of Mississippi campus from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
