Nancy Sullivan is an educator who received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University. Mrs. Sullivan also received a specialist degree in educational leadership from the same university. Her teaching career consisted of sixteen years at Okolona Elementary School. She was principal for eight years at Houston Upper Elementary and eight years at West Amory Elementary. She has received several educational awards such as: Administrator of the Year for both Houston and Amory, Northern District Administrator of the Year, and top five Mississippi administrator. Mrs. Sullivan has worked for the North Mississippi Education Consortium since 2006 conducting Professional Development for teachers and administrators. She also does contract work for the Mississippi Department of Education.
