SCOPE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The North Mississippi Education Consortium (NMEC), on behalf of the Mississippi Department of Education Office of Curriculum and Instruction, is seeking proposals for a vendor to support district and school leaders and teachers with an adolescent literacy professional learning pilot. The vendor should propose content that is grounded in the science of reading and structured literacy practices. The goal is to provide face to face sessions that would cover 3 regions of the state (north, central, south). The vendor is expected to provide approximately 33 professional learning days that can be whole or half days. The chosen vendor will work with NMEC and MDE to establish a timeline for deliverables to occur prior to March 31, 2026.
This training will be provided to approximately 150 educators during the 2025-2026 school year, with the option for contract renewal, if there is an availability of funds.
TIMEFRAME
October 2025- March 2026 with optional renewal based on performance and availability of funds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AS RELATED TO SCOPE OF WORK
Specialized certificate, experience, and training in delivering literacy professional learning grounded in the science of reading and structured literacy practice(s).
